Privacy Policy

Surfari Joe's Indoor Wilderness Water Park ("Surfari Joe's," "we," "us"), located at 8258 Arnt Blvd, Watervliet, MI 49098, operates this website. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.

The short version

This website does not have any sign-up forms, accounts, or online checkout, so we don't collect personal information through it. The only data collection on this site is (1) fully anonymous, cookieless traffic analytics, and (2) a Google Maps embed that only loads — and only then shares data with Google — after you specifically agree to it. Nothing is collected before you make that choice.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see general traffic trends (like how many people visit which pages). This service is cookieless — it does not use cookies or any persistent identifier, and it cannot track you across visits, days, or other websites. It only loads after you accept our cookie banner, even though it doesn't require consent under privacy law on its own.

Google Maps

Our Location section includes a Google Maps embed showing our address. This embed is not loaded automatically. Until you click "Load Map" or accept our cookie banner, no map loads and no data is sent to Google. Once you choose to load it, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address and general location, governed by Google's Privacy Policy. If you'd rather not load it, use the "Get Directions" link instead, which opens Google Maps directly without embedding anything on our site.

Contacting us

If you call, email, or message us directly (for example, to book a party package or ask a question), we use whatever information you share only to respond to you. We don't add you to a mailing list or share that information with third parties for marketing.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent personal information to anyone.
• We don't run advertising trackers or retargeting pixels.
• We don't process online payments through this website — wristband and party package purchases are handled by phone or in person, subject to whatever information you choose to share in that conversation.

Children's privacy

This website is a general-audience informational site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.

Your choices

You can change your cookie/analytics choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which resets the cookie banner. Because we collect so little to begin with, most privacy requests (like asking what we have on file) are simple — just contact us using the information below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
